i've been with tmobile for almost 2 years.and my warranty is already void.

my first phone somehow just became a blank screen when i accidently dropped it and recieved a replacment of the same phone (nokia 6133) when i recieved my replacement the little port for the charger never worked anymore and the guy at tmobile told to get it fixed for like 35$.

i was wondering if i can get a different phone since my warranty isn't active anymore or if i can just get a new contract.by the way i have kid connect which really suks.

is kid connect a prepaid service? I didn't think it required a contract.

kid connect is not a pre-paid service.

its just like a 2year contract just i dont get that much minutes only 50min.

its a really crappy service and since my old phone (nokia 6133) doesnt work anymore im using my brother's blackberry pearl. i really want to get a sidekick when my contract expires or switch over to at&t for the iphone

if you want a new phone you are going to need to call customer care to see where you are in your contract. the other option forgave is to go to ebay.

if it was a 2yr contract than you can get a phone at 22 months. 1yr gets a phone at 11 months. you will need to call customer care and see how close you are.

yes you would be extending your contract 2 years. you can request to do a 1 year contract but will have to pay about $50 more for the phone. a sidekick will work without the data package but if it is ever reset or the battery dies you lose all your info. its basically a brick without the internet
