is it possible to remove collor from a faceplate ( to make it ) transparent ? i reallay cant find one anywere so i decided i should make one myself...any solvents i could use ?

hey,
the color from the face plate cannot be removed, it's a pigment inside the plastic particules. I'm a chemical engineer specialized in plastic components,
don't put solvents on your face plates, you will remove the surface protection ,
trust me,
buy another face plate,
or leave it this way,

It'll just kill your cover. You know, a transparent one seems great but when it's on your phone...

a friend of mine had his 3310 faceplates rubbed with some fine sandpaper and some solvent and the result was impresive...they got out pearly white...you could swear they were made out of bone and had some transparency too...i tought someone already tried this on 3650 faceplates ...well i'll be a pioneer...

Here in our country there are lot of transparent faceplate and it only cost less than a dollar. Really impressive coz there are different color of it.
