hmmmm.... i am begining to get the impression that samsung have taken every E700 owner that fell for its looks as a mug because i am certain (correct me if i am wrong) that NOBODY is happy with the firmware but they dont appear to give a shit. i feel cheated myself. i think someone should complie an extensive list of unsatisfied customers (sort of like a petition) but signatures would be difficult in this virtual world so im guessing email addresses/phone numbers would be more convenient and forward it to the programming (or relevant) samsung department. i will try to find the time to do it myself but if we all did it then they couldnt ignore it (we'll get em on watchdog if we have to lol). but seriously, im upset to learn that i have just payed £250 for what can be described as little more than a lump of pretty plastic. especially when we all know that they can easily correct these clumsy flaws but appear to have no intention to. they dont seem to have any regard for customer loyalty and im guessing they dissagree that the customer is always right on an individual level so i think it would be wise to tackle the decision makers democratcally. where there is a will there is a way and reckon £250 worth of unlocked potential is enugh motivation fo us to make this work. peace

This petition, could be a good idea, maybe samsung will finally understand that so many unhappy clients are very good anty-marketing for them, and it will push them to make new software (and let us to download games via IrdA :> )
This list with unhappy customers must be on some good know server.
All unhappy customers could write there their IMEI for a prove that they
have e700.
sorry for my English :>

dont worry about your english mate. its the only language i know and mine aint too good either.
anyway people, i have emailed the gaffas of this forum. i will paste the email at the end of this post and ill let you know what the response is. in the meantime, i think it would be wise if we were all to speak to the other unhappy E700 customers in other forums that we are members of. remember, the more people on our side, the higher the probability of our E700 dreams becoming a reality. we can do this. I firmly believe that the E700 has the potential to be by far the best phone in its league. if i go it alone then i will be about as sucessfull as you lot have been thus far. if we do it together we WILL make it happen and we dont even have to do all that much when you think about it.
EMAIL : "i have browsed many forums and every E700 customer seems to have atlest 1 problem with the firmwares avalible. i was wondering whether it would be possible for me to put up a post that would remain at the top of the samsung section so as to attract as much attention as possible? i wanted to communicate reasonable ideas with the other members and then collect names and email addresses/phone numbers and then forward their details to samsungs programming dept. many individuals from this forum alone have contacted samsung but have been fobed off with patronising replies so i feel it would be in favour of many of your members if you were to allow me to do what i am requesting. thanks for your time and i hope to receive reply from you soon."

If you send complaint email to samsung from their page, they have your imei (of course, if you completed all the fields from email form). So, they have phone IMEI of all customers wich post a complain. They say that the problem will be remeded when this could be possible ... I don't think that will be soon enough So, until then ... all that we can do is to ... wait ... grrr... or to purchase a new phone, maybe E715 (I think to sell my E700 and to purchase a new E715 - wich is same phone, but better firmware) ...

fair enough but i believe half of the reason samsung arent as motivated as they could be is because they feel they are dealing with INDIVIDUALS. if they were dealing with 5000 individuals then it is my guess that they would all be treated similarly. if however they were dealing with a GROUP of 5000 unhappy customers that were all aware that there were 4999 individuals they would be much more respectful of our efforts. think about it but as i said, i cant make this a reality but WE can. your choice i guess. im going relpy if i get a response to that email and i would appreciate if you would back me all the same. whats the worst that could happen? whats the best that could happen?

Maybe that will be a solution ... anyway, I will support 100% this issue.
