As BlokCipher described in topic: Lack of Firmware Functionality the Samsung SGH-E700 can do more but it looks like samsung don't care about our needs. Thats why i started this thread and i know that there are more people that want the simple functions like adding your downloaded ringtones to the user groups.
Let your voice be heard. We need to »»» E-mail ««« them to reach our target we must have support from over 1000 people!
Feel free to add things from BlokCipher post.

Dear Samsung,
Im writing this mail cause im having some problems with my samsung sgh-e700 software functionality. There are some fucntions that my phone misses and i realy want to have.
When writing an SMS and you accidently hit the Red button instead of the 3 which you intented to, the message that was being typed becomes erased. If you were righting a rather long sms, tough luck, you have to start typing it all over again.
The error message that pops up when a particular "folder" is empty. Eg. When you delete the last SMS in your inbox or when you delete the last photo or when you try to go into your inbox and there are no SMS's or (you get what I`m saying). I find this message annoying and the sound that comes with it. An idea would be to just go into the "folder" and display [Empty]
SMS outbox. There should be an option to disable the outbox. This feature can be very useful in keeping track of which SMSs have been sent but it can also quicky eat up precious memory space.
Last but not least why so litle memory (600kB) of 9MB for the java games and i would also like to send the javagames through IrDa.
I hope to get a answer as soon as possible.
Greetings, Don

If enough of you complain, they might actually try to fix the phone

Yeah man, althought I'm a believer that a phone just shouldn't be a phone, but do other things, hence I got the SE P900, had it like 2 days and love it already.
-edit- Don't type in all caps please.

In the first mail they wrote something about how to download java games than i wrote them back and they wrote me On this moment theres no update for the SGH-E700 available. May it be available in the feature you can find it in the 'downloadcentre' at www.samsung.com. But she forwarded it to the technical support department.
Maybe i should have choosen korea as country.
