I came across this tutorial: HOW-TO: Unlock RAZR V3 yourself (R374, BL 08.26 and below) (topic43620.html)
but it seems like that's been written for newer RAZR's where mine is quite old

What you have got is call V3XX and it is a better, new version of raz. You need to call your carrier for unlock code, or buy code on ebay or have the pro unlock it for you. This fone you can not unlock it with out special tool

Hello, I wanted to ask you if there has been any change to unlock this razr since your last post above?
I had read of a way concerning this bootloader but really don't remember where I had found it Studying this for over a month.
I've got a phone that is worthless unless I can unlock it myself as I have tried several for pay unlocking companys. You seem to be the man that would know so I'm at your door .begging for help.

I've got one other request while I'm at it.
I have a 2nd locked razr that was droped in water it will come on but screen goes blank soon after. Is there any hope for this one?
Can you repair and unlock? If you can I could send with other. Let me know.
