Haha, I agree.
My boyfriend said he wanted it. I said why? It's ugly, get the Cect or something, least it looks closer to the iPhone.
But I don't really think the iPhone isn't that great either.
Watch something better come along.

So yea, the G1 may not be the prettiest, but the iPhone looks fragile. The G1 doesn't. Plus, the G1 is designed along the lines of all HTC phones. It looks that way because T-Mobile wanted a phone that had the touch screen of the iPhone, the keyboard of the sidekick and the trackball of the blackberry.
Besides, it's not just the looks that make the phone. Regardless of whether you think it's ugly, it'll still turn heads and make people jealous. Personally, I think the Palms are pretty ugly. Too scrunched.

But they didn't design palms for whiny teens and nerds trying to look cool with the latest electronic handheld. they designed it for business.

The G1 isn't that ugly. By 'ugly' I think people attach it to ordinary looking or plain. But in this case it looks cleaner and less is more . in ways of function.

The G1 is recieving very poor reviews when it comes to reception, ease of use, and 3g capabilities.
