I have had nothing but on going issues with my sprint service. Ever since my ex boyfriend and I split our shared family plan he has still been able to get access to my account. I even got sent his bill and had to pay his bill before my service was turned back on even after we broke up and his name is still on my account after all this time! Yet his number is no longer linked to my account just his name. (I have only been able to fix that issue of receiving HIS bill since he does have his own separate account) I have contacted sprint on many occasions filing complaints. I basically want nothing to do with sprint at this point it has caused a numerous amount of ongoing issues & stress. It has now been almost a year since we split our accounts and when I call people the caller ID still says HIS NAME not mine. I also never got my new phone like sprint promises every customer. That 150 credit towards a new phone every 2 years. well guess what sprint its been well over 2 years since I have received that credit as well! They claim since my new contract started all over again when my ex and me split that I am no longer eligible until Nov of 2009. Even though they never offered me a new phone back in Nov. of last year. Claiming that the phone I have currently is the phone I got "for free". When I purchased this phone from a friend. Someone please help sprint is nothing but a disaster for me I want out!
any suggestions on breaking this contract it is causing me nothing but problems!
On top of all that sprint was kind enough to supply my ex with my picture mail password. How is this not a total invasion of my privacy. Why after all this time is his shit still linked to me. I have gone into the store over 6 times trying to sort this issue out along with numerous phone conversations with sprint's customer service! Sorry sprint but you SUCK

PS: this isn't even including my ACTUAL service problems. Not receiving some really important incoming calls or texts. It's like the phone decides when it wants to ring or when it doesn't. I know it's not just this phone I've had this issue before with my other sprint phone I had prior to this one.

Regarding the service . . . every carrier has times when calls do not ring in, or texts are slow in sending if ever sent, so I wouldn't leave Sprint for that reason. However the previous paragraph appears to give you, if correct, some legal leverage to get them to cancel you, because if they do not, you could take them to arbitration.

Sounds like your ex may have someone helping him that works at Sprint or is getting lucky and guessing your online password. If he is when you go to a store you can ask and see if anyone has made changes to your account. Each time someone accesses your account at Sprint it leaves a note saying xxx person accessed it on xxx day and made xxx changes.
It is very possible if you talk to the manager you can get everything that you want as long as you can prove that someone is screwing with your account. This includes canceling your account.
What does you and your ex's problems have to do with sprint? That's why you need to be careful with shared plans. seems like you didn't do your homework and are looking to pass the buck. grow up.

dump em. I dumped them because I thought my contract was over, and then when I found out it wasn't and that I was going to have to pay early terminatiom fees (they are trying to collect from me now, and they are planning on sending to collections when i dont pay). THEN I found out that early termination fees were just rules to be ILLEGAL in california.i contacted that lawyer who handled the case, and now I am a part of the next class action law suit against sprint. look him up - scott bursor
So because you didn't know your real contract expire date That's sprint's fault? etf's are still not illegal nor will they be. all companies still charge etf's they will just be prorated from now on. so if you terminate a year early you'll still have to say half the etf. grow up and take responsibility for your actions.

oh please.
Sprint just refunded me most of the fees, but only because I went to the Better Business Bureau. Looks like Sprint should grow up and do the right thing before their innocent customers have to waste their time and money fighting them.
Sprint didn't force you into the contract. you signed of your own free will making you responsible for what you signed for. the bbb can't force any company to do anything. your just looking to pass the buck. that makes YOU an irresponsible consumer and is no fault of sprint's, or any other company you deal with. ultimately it is your fault. get over it.

what a waste of time it's been going back and forth with you. you don't know the first thing about my situation with Sprint and I'm done wasting my time explaining myself.
I'd still advise everyone out there to dump Sprint. They routinely overcharge their customers and then tell their customers there is nothing they can do about it.
