I have a Nokia 7250i that I JUST got. I've activated MMS through Cingular already, but it just won't send messages...why? Also, I don't have the options of "night mode", "zoom", or adding picture with incoming calls. I checked the inside of the phone to make sure it was a 7250i and it is, but I don't have the features I'm supposed to. Also, how do I get online???
Please help - or send the number for the suicide hotline!! (kidding - but VERY frustrated)

Are you sure, you've got everything subscribed you need?
from cingular.com:
| Quote: | What other services do I need with MMS?
You must also subscribe to a Wireless Internet Express (WIX) package and text messaging. |
If yes: did you've set up the phone right?
Call 866-CINGULAR or visit a retail shop and let them give you the right settings for MMS on a Nokia Phone.
For night mode:
From the manual:
| Quote: | From the menus, select Camera, then select one of the following options:
Standard photo—Lets you take a photo in landscape orientation under normal lighting conditions.
Portrait photo—Lets you take a photo in portrait orientation that can be added to a name/phone number saved in contacts.
Night mode—Lets you take a photo in landscape orientation in
dim lighting. |
For adding a picture to your contact:
| Quote: | ADD AN IMAGE TO A NAME OR NUMBER
1. At the start screen, press the Scroll down key.
2. Scroll to the name or number to which you want to add an image, and select Details > Options > Add image. The display shows the list of folders in the Gallery.
3. Scroll to a folder that contains images and select Open.
4. Scroll to the desired image and select Options > Save to contacts.A copy of the image is added to the contact.
Note: You can use the phone to take a photo and attach it to the contact. See “Take a photo” on page 104 for more information. |

I read the manual inside and out, BUT I simply don't have the option of "night mode" or "zoom" or "add picture" to people's names in my phonebook. That's what I'm trying to say - these AREN'T in my menu. And I did look inside my phone and it does say Nokia 7250i...now what?
?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?

Hey thanks - you're a genius...turns out it isn't a 7250i, just a 7250...even though the package, instruction booklet, and the label inside the phone itself say 7250i - I got robbed!! Thanks for your help!
