Bluetooth won't recognize LG Shine

I know I really shouldn't double post, but I'm frustrated by everything about this phone lately. So, I'm curious if there are other LG Shine users out there who are having problems with their bluetooth and not being able to sync with anyone else?

I've had my LG Shine for about 3 months now. I've managed to sync with my boyfriends old Sony Ericsson once when I first got the phone. Since then, it's been nothing.

I know I'm doing everything right, and I know it's compatible with the types of information I'm wanting to send (or recieve) via bluetooth.

I'm on AT&T's network but I've tried syncing with two Blackberry Pearls (T-Mobile), a Moto Q9 (AT&T), a Sanyo Katana (Sprint), a Motorola Rokr (US Cellular), a Motorola Krazr (AT&T I think) and some little LG phone (Virgin Mobile) as well as various bluetooth headsets including, but not limited to, Jabra, Platronics, and Motorola. Nothing recognizes my phone, nothing will sync.

So, if anyone's had any problems with the bluetooth, let me know, and if you've fixed it, how'd ya do it?

AT&T went on to tell me that the reason I couldn't connect the bluetooth to anyone else's is because my internet is blocked. I did a bad thing and laughed at the person who told me that (because I know better).

LG wants me to send the phone directly to them, but I'm hesitant, due to the fact that I want to try to figure it out myself.

I've tried everything short of a master reset, and I'm planning on trying that on my next break at work.

recheck your procedure and settings.

failing that go to a store in your area. pose the same question to them. if they cant get it to work there is always the warranty option
