I was looking at my usage on my phone tonight and I'm used to seeing minutes and messaging but tonight they had added a new thing called data. When I went to it, it said that I had used over 5 MBs. I'm never on Mobile Web, and I only download the free demos of games. I have a text messaging plan that has unlimited in and 500 free other texts so what is going on? Am I going to be charged for something? I was never told anything about it.

About 2 months ago we switched all of our plans for customers from americas choice plans to nationwide plans. what that did does not really affect peoples plans or rates but it just changes how they charge for what is used. the MBs that you are seeing are from the OTA downloads that you getting. Before on your old plan it was just minutes used. now its by bytes.
let me know if that helps you understand what is going on
