After switching to Verizon Wireless, I have experienced so many dropped calls! With one conversation, the call was dropped every 8 mins or so we kept reconnecting then it happened again with full bars. The zip code is 20783.any sugguestions?

Were the calls everywhere? Just indoors or around your home? Have you called customer service from a separate phone to have them check the settings and troubleshoot the device? I recommend calling customer service or bringing your device to a direct store to have a tech see it.

Yeah for sure call customer service. Also you can try and update your PRL (perfered roaming list). dial *228 on your verizonwireless handheld and then hit option 2. It will locate the towers around you help you do get better reception. And if your calls keep getting dropped you should call cust service from a landline, there maybe be a problem in the switch and the reason why your phone keeps dropping from the network.
