Your forgetting to compare the retail prices. and what top of the line phone does verizon have? other than the recent htc touch pro? your also forgetting sprint gives you 100 credit towards your bill every time you resign. so yeah, it evens out.

Wow i did not know that last part. thanks for letting me know.
so if i buy a new phone and sign up for a new contract after like 13-14 months & get $75 off the phone . will i still get a 100$ credited bill?

I Think it's only the two years, and actually you get a choice between a 10 percent discount and a 100 dollar credit, per line. depending on your plan the 10 Percent can easily exceed 100 dollars per line over the two years, but, since you can't stack discounts and i'm already at the max for discounts, (Except The SERO) I get 100 credit per line. my discount also applies to all equipment i order through telesales. so i get 25 percent off any phone, plus the yearly discount. but the yearly discount is taken off first. so for the htc touch pro, which is 600 retail, i think, minus my 75 for one year is 525. after my discount it comes out to Roughly 394. And After the mail in, which is 100 Bucks i believe, comes out to 294. If I Were able to get the two year discount the price would be 237. Assuming those prices are correct. now That's not including the 100 bill credit if i was at two years. so i would be getting a 600 dollar phone for roughly 137 dollars. not too shabby. lets see verizon beat that.

well that right there is insanely good . but i doubt anybody has the discounts that you have accumulated over the years. Im like 1 yr. in. thats basically nothing compared to you and alot of others. I did alot of switching and trial and error between the carriers.

bottom line is i really would like i new phone soon. and im not sure i would be able to get a mid-upper range one for a price that is anywhere reasonable. and no, i do not feel that paying 200 bucks for a cellphone is reasonable. 100$ is pretty much the highest ill go at this point. which pretty much leaves me stuck at the moment

I'm on a family share plan with 4 phones with sprint that includes 3000 minutes, unlimited data and texting. It's 189.00 a month before my company's 25% discount. I considered switching to AT&T or Verizon for either the iPhone or the BB Storm until checked what it would cost me for the same service. It wasn't even close. AT&T was going to be around 230.00 per month for 4 iPhones and that was before taxes and other charges and that includes the corporate discounts. Verizon's prices weren't much better.

You get what you pay for, thats all I got to say about that, you have to look at the whole picture, and what is going to work for you, there is not one provider who is going to provide everything that you want at a price you want, you have to look for a provider who is going to suit your needs, quality over quanity and whats important to you.

Thing is, not only is he paying less, he's getting better service. just because something costs more doesn't always make it better. sprint has always led the way in innovation among american carriers. all the others can do is copy.

Sprint has higher quality phones for one, so naturally they will cost a little more. two, verizon makes that money back by charging nearly double what sprint does for the extra's like text and internet.

lmao @ higher quality, so you are telling me, the higher quality compared to what? the Omnia? The Eternity? The Quickfire? The Rugby? I think you need to do a lil price comparison and quality check, I think you would be surprised

Been there done that and it's kind of funny only the touch pro is being optioned by 3 carriers count em 3 and the others only one. the other phones are lacking in comparison in quality to the touch pro, htc has been in the high end phone game for a while now while samsung and others are just getting thier feet wet.
