since Verizon doesn't offer wifi on the xv 6900 can you get connected with a sdio? does broadband need to be connected through something else or how does it work? I don't want to spend $80 a month just to get online. Thanks icon_wacko.gif

Okay so i dont know what a sdio is. but i do know how you can get internet for cheaper than 80 dollars a month. You can either get the data package added to your phone for 29.99 a month, which allows you to access the internet wherever you are. even if you went with the 44.99 plan for corporate servers is still less than 80 dollars a month. Also if you want to teather you phone and use it as a modem to connect your pc or laptop that will only be 59.99 a month on top of your voice service. so you will only be adding 30 bucks to your plan

let me know if that helps .

Can you use a wireless card to pick up wifi if the phone is not set up for it?

uh. no. you need a network card to use wifi or your computer has to have a card built in to be able to pick it up.
