well.on november 19th my contract expires and i can get a new phone.i was wondering if i could get the htc G1 or the samsung tocco right now and not have to wait all the way to nov.19 t get a new phone.plus, could i just get either phone without the data plan and just get it with the messaging service?

you should be able to get the full discount at this point so yes you could get the G1 on weds.
the G1 requires adata plan and will not be sold without one. There is no info on the tocco yet.

25.99 for unlimited data and 400 messages and 35.99 for unlimited data and unlimited messages.
