I admit I've been taking hand-me-down phones from my friends and family, but I recently received an O2 xda to use as a smartphone to use for business. But for the life of me I can't find any way to add firmware or software updates. It was a german model, so I was forced to install the english software to work, but now none of the O2 sites I find even list the model? Should I scrap it/hand it off and stick with my Nokia 6300?

Hi,
almost all HTC phones made for O2 include XDA name. If your phone is original XDA (nothing else in its name) you can use any firmware you will find for:
