hey guys im sure that this has been posted many times b4. im sorry. basically what happened is my little bro found this cell in a walmart shopping cart and brought it home to me. i didnt know it was wet inside and i turned it on and at first it started to try to boot something different than i know what was suppose to be on it. it was a verizon wireless prepay cell. anyway as i kept trying to get it to boot up it just quit on me. now when i turn it on all i get is a black screen, no sounds, but all the keys are lit up. ive opened it and checked all the moisture indicators and all of them are red so i guess it got soaked. ive dried it with a hair drier, let it sit for months and still nothing. any suggestions?

I would toss it. With the issues you describe, it would never be reliable, ASSuming you could get to work at all, which I doubt.
Actually, a long time ago, I'd throw something like this in the desk drawer as a project for another day. But as I got older, I didn't like the odds that a project like this were worth.
Plus those things are so cheap on eBay that, really, there's no point.
But the next time you run across a wet phone, DO NOT try to power it up. Let it dry out thoroughly for a few days, then give it a try. Your chances of salvaging it will be better.
