I am new to Verizon and having an issue. I came from AT&T (thier phones do not get reception at my home.so I needed to change). I used to use a program called Motorola Phone Tools to allow me to sync my Razr v3 to my outlook calendar and to charge the phone via usb cable attached to my computer. However, I have been told (by the Verizon rep) that this was not an option with Verizon.
Can I use Motorola Phone Tools? Will it require something like a seem edit?

it shouldn't, do you have the latest version of moto phone tools that includes your phone?

Good call. I was running version 4.04 and just paid to upgrade to version 4.56. Now I can connect and easily transfer contacts. However, it won't access the calendar and my options for transferring media (pictures and sounds) is not even an option on this phone. Any ideas on why I can't drop a couple mp3s to the phone or why I can't transfer pictures to my computer from it?

probably been locked out by the provider and may require a seem edit, check in the motorola section to see if someone has a answer
