my cable doesnt work, I turn my phone on connect it to the pc, and startup easygprs, and it isnt detected. Could anyone please help?

ok, have u checked the easy gprs settings to make sure that the correct port is assigned to the phone?has this problem recently happened, or has it happened from the start?

What kind of cable do you have? USB? OEM?

The cable came with the phone, and it used to work. How do I know which port is the correct one. The problem arose as of late, I haven't always had it.

Just as of late since I have been trying to fix it Im going to reinstall it so that the original settings are back, but what if that doesnt work?

If that doesn't work reinstall your OS.

It helps to reinstall. The windows updates messes up your pc esspecially SP1 that really sucks. Or you can wait for SP2. Windows Xp?
