CUST: How many minutes come with the unlimited plan?
ME: It's unlimited. So you can talk as much as you like anytime, nationwide.
CUST: So if I go over my minutes how much would it be?
ME: Well it's unlimited, so you can't go over your minutes. (Grrrrr).
CUST: Why do I have a late fee on my bill?
ME: Because your payment was late.
CUST: Oh ok.
CUST: I'm being charged for 2 phone numbers on my bill, but I only have one line! My own phone number is here, and then there is an 800 number here too right next to where it says customer service. I never authorized that number to be added!
ME: The 800 number you are referring to is actually the number to customer service. (Grrrrr)
CUST: Oh.

They do have those incentives yet they still have a 'hiring' sign out front due to the still high turnover in these economic times.

alot of call centers have high turnover rates, it's customer service afterall, only people with stone skin and no better options stick it out. Try being in the collections dept for the major utility provider in Michigan, that's a great test of mental strength, though the field techs have it worse, fear of getting a shotgun blast to the chest will make most techs think twice about shutting off service at the meter
