I just purchased this phone today for Verizon Wireless (proud customer for 2+ years) and am still getting used to it as it is my first smartphone. I did my research and asked plenty of questions at the store, but have a few loose ends to tie up and was hoping someone might be able to help.
1) I was told that, much like with my old LG VX-8300, I could enable BOTH ringer and vibrate for incoming calls. However, I cannot seem to find the option to do so. Any hints?
2) Likewise, how can I set up ringer/picture ID for incoming calls? I have images stored on my microSD card that I would like to use for this purpose.
3) Lastly, Facebook for Mobile -- where can I install this from? I had been told in store that it might come pre-installed, but no such luck.
Thanks,
Jason

Can't find the answer to the first question, sorry.
For 2) When you set up the contact, you have the option to put in a picture. If the phone doesn't allow you to access the memory card to do so, you may have to move the pics you want to use to the phone itself.
For 3) go to blackberry's site /facebook
You can find this information on vzw's site. If you click on phones & accessories then scroll down to Blackberry and choose the 8330 you will be taken to the page for that phone. From this page you can choose the feature tab below the pic of the phone, then at the bottom of the box click on the link for support. This takes you to a page where you can even view a simulator to learn how to do different things on the Curve. You can also access this from your account if you register online w/VZW.

Thank you for the help. Two other things perhaps you or someone can help answer:
1) When watching videos using Youtube Mobile, is there any way to enlarge the video to full screen? I am aware that there is a "Full Screen" option, and it is checked off, but I find it hard to believe that it cannot be expanded as there is so much black space around the video.
2) Anyone with this unit and VZW notice hissing in the background when making outgoing calls? It must just be from my end because I haven't heard anyone complain about how I sound, but there is a very noticeable hissing when I make a call.

To make it ring or vibe or both, go to your profiles, then to the bottom for "advanced", and then highlight which profile you want to change and press the menu (berry button with dots), and select edit. From here you can select if you want the vibrate and ringer to be on, or just ring or just vibrate.

Should I upgrade my software version from 4.3 to 4.5? I hear HTML e-mail is enabled with the newer software, but I've heard stories of people having phone issues after upgrading and/or lower ringtone volume. I also am hesitant to have to wipe my phone - is this really necessary?
