Nothing but plastic toys in all the stores?
How do you actually try one out?
I went over to a new V store near me and saw nothing related to the storm inside.
I ask.do you sell the storm?
Yes.we are sold out.
No demo ? I say
No.Sorry
With phones becoming more and more advanced, how can you not try one out? Seems insane to me.The ATT store has 2 -3 i-phones to test out in real time.

wow that sounds a bit strange, every vzw store I have ever been in has had working models of all the phones. You sure this wasn't an authorized dealer?

It has a large VERIZON sign out front and all Verizon products inside.
Maybe they have demo's behind the counter ?
It's a brand new store and all I saw were plastic hollow models of the phones.

even so, some authorized dealers look just like a corporate store, of course being a brand new store they may not have stock in yet for demo units. Where is the store?

If this is the address:
20350 N. CAVE CREEK RD STE 100, Phoenix, AZ 85024
Then it is a GoWireless, which is an indirect that sells only VZW.

Sometimes different carriers will offer the same phone, but use different names for them. For instance, I was looking into buying an XV6800 for Verizon, but my local store didn't have any. So I went into an AllTel store and there it was, a fully functional display model. Same thing, different carrier. Sprint calls it the Mogul, and it's really an HTC Titan, so you see what I'm saying. The software may be different, but at least you can physically see how it feels.
