I have an iPhone (on 3rd one because of problems) and work is giving me a Bold next week. If I like the Bold more, can I cancel the new account work is setting up for the Bold, keep the Bold and have AT&T move my iPhone phone number to the Bold?

Actually, it IS a great forum. Don't be a smartass just because someone didn't run home from church and answer your question.
And for the record, I DID respond to this post, but I don't know what happened to it.
This is too easy. Take your SIM card, put it in the iPhone. Problem solved. Well, most of it. You need to call AT&T & have them change your data plan from the the iPhone data plan to the regular smartphone data plan. I don't know if there are any differences in the two plans, but at least call them and make them aware of your change in phones.
Another issue might be if "Work" has a contract on that account and can't cancel the account intended for you. It could be that "Work" holds several accounts and can use this one for someone else, which is fine.
Good luck, I guess.

You would have to check with your company if they would allow you to Transfer your old number to their account instead of the number they set up for you, if they will, then you can simply take the sim card out of the IPHONE and put it in the BOLD and it will work, however you do need to call customer service and have them switch your plan from the IPHONE plan to the PDA plan and they are the same price
