Hello, I have a few questions.
Im wondering if there is a way that anyone can look up past text messaging online? I heard that there is a way, but they wouldn't tell me how to look it up. Im just trying to see if it is possible?
Also how can people send me message to my phone and it doesn't say who the sender is from? How do they block their name?
And last question, I'd like to know how to stop/block private calls on my cell phone, is that possible?
Thanks!

you can see the numbers but not the text
caller it blocked on a text is done from a computer with a caller ID spoofer (generally speaking) its the piece of software that telemarketers use
no you cannot block private calls on a celphone. that is a landline function ONLY. use you caller ID and screen calls. go to donotcall.gov and register your line

Hello there!
My name is Tony, and I work for AT&T in the Recievables Management group. In response to your question, you cannot block unknown callers from a mobile phone. If the number is known, you can use SmartLimits to screen it out, however, if the caller blocks their number, it will bypass it.
If it grows into a serious harassment more than an annoyance, you should contact us at 1-800-331-0500 and have your number changed. Normally, the rules state that we have to charge you a 36.00 number change fee and your bill must be under 60.00 past due, but if you ask the right way, it can be overridden due to these types of calls.
As for your questions regarding the text messages, if you mean a data transfer detail, you can get that online in what we called your OLAM, or Online Account Manager. You can get the detail the same as the call detail.
However, if you're asking if you can get actual copies of the messages sent or see them online, the answer is no, you cannot see or get them online no matter what someone tells you.
They are stored for a limited amount of time in secure archive servers and they are possible to get however, you must have a court order in the form of a supoena ( I know I spelled that wrong, my apologies!). They are deleted after a certain time frame so if your request is too late, they may already be gone.
Hope this helped you and thanks for being an AT&T customer!
