Im a sprint customer.Well i just became one after cancelling my service with verizon wireless. As you know the apple iphone is the best thing going on,in the mobile market right now.So my question is, how does the samsung instinct size up to the apple iphone.Does anyone on this forum have a samsung instinct. If so how does it compare.I have an instinct which i traded in a blackberry curve 8330 curve for.Didn't like the blackberry, was to complicating to use.
For one, the iphone is nowhere near the best thing on the mobile market. there are far better phones like the touch pro, blackberry storm, and t mobile's g1, to name a few. i can go on and on. the instinct was a good phone, but it is old, and better ones have come out.

the iphone has won worldwide awards, wether you like to admit it or not, there is no single phone more saught after than the iphone, and not to mention the amazing features that it offers, if you have never own one, you wouldn't understand, true some phones offer more features, however no phone puts them into a package such as the iphone, just the way you navigate the phone with natural gestures, the display dims and lights as you need it, the sounds gets louder or softer according to your needs, so if you have never owned one, you don't really know what your talking about or what your missing out on
Actually I got to test drive one for two weeks and thier so called features have been available for years. if the iphone is so popular, why is everyone dying to sell their iphone on ebay and craigslist for much less than they paid for it? it is another 10 Day Success from apple that eventually fails. att even dissed the iphone. it's nothing but a gimmick and there is no innovation with the iphone. my little flip phone can do everything the iphone can aside from the touch screen. so yeah, it's nothing special. the iphone doesn't even support expandable memory or third party apps. sad really. that is why apple fails and had microsoft bail them out twice already.

Actually with 8GB or 16GB if you want more, who needs expandable memory and it really does support third party apps, in fact the new version supports software to programmers to create new software directly on the iPHONE, I had one for a lil while and I really enjoyed mine, I loved the spell checker and the gps, both work awesome on 3G network, I live in a city that has 3G so that helps
And sprint has 3g in every major market and in most small markets. my lil flip phone also has gps. and he who says "who needs expandable memory" just doesn't have it. i know i can chew through 8 or 16 gigs quite easily. the iphone is like paris hilton, a joke.

I don't know big of an SD card your "lil flip" has but I doubt if it holds more than 16GB, most phones are lucky to support that much memory
I had an Instinct when they 1st came out but sent it back because the updates were not ready within my 30 days, the iphone has an awesome UI but lacks an true 3g to use stuff because it depends on Wi Fi. I was about to purchase the Instinct again til I found out an Android Instinct is in the works. The only area that the iphone beats the Instinct, IMHO, is the browser
