I ordred a phone over the inter from T Mobile, I was wondering if you are under contract when you order the phone or not until you activate the phone.
Thanks

As far as I know, contract extensions take effect once you order them. So if your online phone purchase came with a contract extension, then it was put into effect once you finished the purchase.

if you are a new t-mobile customer then you are not under contract till you activate your phone or 30 days elapse since your order.

My reaction would be to call T-mobile today and clarify the situation. Waiting could cost you.

I belong to t-mobile, I think it starts on the day you ordered the phone.
What I was wondering is why you ordered it on line? Did you know that both customer service and the stores (T-Mobile) usually have cheaper prices than the online store?

Tmobile phones are shipped unactivated for 30days from ship date unless activated by you (by inserting your sim card and powering the phone up). Unless there was a recent change in the policy, this has been around forever.
