I have just "upgraded" to a Blackberry. When I go out mtn biking I would really like to just carry my old Sony Ericsson w810i. Is there any way to use the Sony without having to swap the sim card to it each time? I have an extra sim card - does that matter? Does it make difference if I unlock the Sony.I haven't changed carriers (ATT)?
New to the whole cell phone technology.any help is greatly appreciated.

with the sim card tech out there you can only have one phone number per sim so you would have to switch sim if you want the blackberry number in the sony

If you just want to use the phone as a music player, then you can just use your spare AT&T SIM. If you get the phone unlocked, you can use any SIM.
Otherwise, Cptech31 is right, you have to use the SIM from your BlackBerry to use your phone number.
