Can i buy a Tmobile sidekick 3 and use it with any other sim

i live in Trinidad and i just love the sidekick. so before i decide to buy one i would like to know if i can just buy the phone without any package and use it with another sim card? Thanks

You would more than likely have to pay full price for the phone from some other retailer that carries it (T-Mobile will require a contract to sell the phone, I'm fairly sure).
Then you're gonna have to make sure that the phone is unlocked. Also, you'll need to make sure that frequency bands the Sidekick runs on will be compatible with frequencies that are used in Trinidad.
Check out GSMWorld.com to check the frequencies in Trinidad if you're not sure.

full price is 400 or 450usd.
if you manage to get the phone unlocked, the data features will not work because the operating system is coded for t-mobile and can not be changed.
