I am searching for a new phone (possibly and iPhone) for my husband as an early Valentine's gift. We live in Galveston and our options on the island here for great, new to the market electronics are a bit limited due to the hurricane in December.
I have spoken to several people (even internationally) that purchase phones from online retailers such as Cellhut and even Silkfair. The prices seem too good to be true. Should I be cautious? What questions should I ask?
Also what suggestions would all of you have for steps to take when purchasing from an online seller to ensure that the product is new, in great condition and then activate the service?

ok .i wudnt suggest buying a phone online .its possible to fake phones .clone it etc and sell and it ll be too good to note the difference.go to an authentic retailer who seels one with good bills/warranties .shell out that extra buck and pain to give him a good phone for life !

you can find phones at big name online retailers including amazon. i just bought online, saved almost 50% from the local service provider store. and even more savings on accessories
