Hi there,
Does anyone have any idea how to activate the flash when trying to take a picture when the phone is closed? I can only see the flash going off when I take a picture with the phone open and it would be really helpful if I could actually see myself in the external LED when taking certain pictures. Also, I cannot find the "Night Mode" option (which may be my problem). The only way I can activate the flash is pressing the top right keypad button that points to a yellow lightning bolt icon. For some reason, my menu looks different than the one in the online tutorial for Samsung.
Thanks for any help.

I guess its the same as the E700 you can't select to modes at the same time. Ist Night Mode or Self Shot.

Hi, I can help ya! With the phone open, hit the RIGHT soft key to activate flash, it ALSO activates nightmode.
With it closed, HOLD DOWN THE CAMERA BUTTON TO ACTIVATE THE CAMERA, THEN HOLD DOWN THE UP VOLUME BUTTON ON THE SIDE (let go when you heara faint beep...5 seconds or so) TO ACTIVATE THAT FLASH.
Hope it helps!
