I got a new LG vx8360 yesterday from Verizon, . I have been unable to access any information on the phone or copy to it using BitPim , though it does recognize the phone. The error message says "Access to the file/directory has been blocked on this phone by the phone provider". I really hate it when they do this . Any work-arounds available yet? I know it's new.Any hepl is appreciated.

I had this issue with my chocolate (vx8550) and then it started working again!
Try to see if you can copy them directly into the file system (Google "bitpim file system for instructions on how to turn on the file system view). You need to browse through, but once you find the folder you'll know.
Trying it this way is when my phone started working both ways again.

use the most currrent BitPIM (1.07x) and set the phone manually to a vx8560 (chocholate 3)
