I use a provider based in Utah called Consumer Cellular, they use AT&T for cell tower access on GSM 900 range only. I was looking for a new phone and they told me only AT&T phones work but not PDA, Blackberry or IPhones. I stopped at a AT&T store and they tested my simm in a LG Shine and it worked fine but it had a AT&T startup screen, is there any other problems that I might have using other carrier phones. I know they need to be unlocked. I have also come across the Cect cellphones, does anyone have a opinion or these Chinese phones. They seem to have alot of really cool iPhone replica phones on there site. Any opinions will be welcome.
