Im very disturbed. I have an lg shine. Im unable to recieve picture messaging from friends and family. Ive spoke with my carrier about ten times since ive got the phone, they give me the same run around that it has to be the other persons phone. Doubtfull since not everyone has the same carrier. Does any on one have the same problam or an answer as to how i fix it.

I have the same phone, and it sounds like a settings issue. I can't pull my phone out here at work to get you the proper settings, however, I should be able to do so when I get home. I'll try to post tomorrow with the proper settings.
Or, if you don't want to wait on me, call AT&T, and tell them you need some troubleshooting done for your picture messages. Just make sure you're calling from a different phone, and not your Shine. They should be able to walk you through the settings and help you out. Let me know, otherwise I'll be posting the info later this evening (hopefully).

My friend called me last month with a new cell number. I've tried to call it the past 2 days to let him know that a mutual friend of ours has passed away.
But it doesn't ring, and goes straight to "the person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time"
What does this mean? And can he still recieve text messages?
