I have a sony Ericsson w580i, and when i try to go onto camera it tells me there is another application running but there is'nt, i have done a reset on phone but still no good, any suggestions would be greatly welcomed!
i would say the best thing to do is to flash the phone with completely new software after you pull off anything from the phone memory.

Yap this this happens to me some times back.
The problem was i had installed the incompatible camera for my k550 phone.
Just try to install compatible camera on your phone.
