My new every 2 was up today so I went and got a Blackberry storm. I have never had a blackberry before and I honeslty do not like this phone. I can't figure half of it out and its extremly difficult to text on.
I was thinking about getting the Voyager. I had the Env before this and I liked the real physical Qwerty keyboard for texting, so I figured the Voyager might be nice.
What do you think?

I have never had a blackberry before either, but am feeling like I am missing out on something by not having one. I am still using a pay as you go cell phone! I have been looking at the Blackberry Pearl as its cheapest one and if I don't like it - oh well! Quess it all depends on what you need a blackberry for, I am looking at it so I can send emails so I do not have to take my laptop everywhere I go!

I got a curve for Christmas and was ready to throw it back before I finally figured it out. It helps to go into forums and ask questions about different functions on it. Also a simple theme makes it ALOT easier to use! One problem I had was too many icons made it confusing. I had it all this time and last night figured out how to make the time show up right instead of army time. After you get used to the size, weight, keys, functions its addicting, I esp like being able to search for free themes (i have bought a couple) and change the looks of the screen completely. Also I like getting my email so quickly since I work at home, its faster than my laptop or desktop getting my mail. Just keep playing with it, maybe its for you or a windows type smart phone may be more your style. I want to try a touch screen next.

How do you change the theme? I haven't found anywhere to download any decent free ones. And I want to use the bluetooth but its not convenient having to choosing on and off for it.
And I hate how when I send an email from my email address is sends a duplicate back to me on my BB. Is there a way to turn this off?
I never understood the appeal of a crackberry. any phone can send and recieve enails these days, and windows phones have much more functionality and customizability

the blackberry is the most secure, thats why goverment officials use the blackberry, everytime it sends and receives an email, it generates a 16 digit pin number that is used to open the message, therefore if the email were ever intercepted, even very sophiciated deciphering machines would have a difficult time opening the messages, just so you know

My friend has the BB Storm and it is a very nice phone. It isn't very hard 2 figure out how 2 use if u are firmilar with smartphones. I have a Tmobile Sidekick Lx and an unlocked 16GB 3G IPhone and they r just as ez 2 use as the Storm. But like I said if u are used 2 using smartphones, u should be able 2 use it with no problem
