I have a new motorola QA30 Hint and with a mini USB connection the computer should see it as a memory device so that I can transfer files to it. According to the manual, it should work this way. When I plugged it into the computer, windows XP did see the phone and installed a USB modem driver and a diag. driver and something else. When I use explorer and go to "My Computer", the phone does not show as a memory device.
Is there another driver or set of drivers that need to be installed?
Thanks,

In case you haven-t fixed it yet.
For a different motorola you have to change the usb-settings (settings-connection) in the phone from Data/Fax to memory card. Then connect it to the computer and it should install different drivers.
