If you like, you can change the software and drivers. That should get it to work. It requires a little bit of technical know-how, but here's a step by step guide:

Go to online.communica.se/mpi/filarkiv

1.) Scroll to the bottom and download the file "USB-100.zip"
2.) Just save somewhere you can get to it later.
3.) Now go to the control panel and to add/remove programs.
4.) Select your bluetooth software and uninstall it.
5.) Remove your bluetooth device and unpair the connection in your phone's bluetooth options.
6.) Delete, by hand, the file "btmtmusb.pnf" or "btmtmusb.inf" which you can find in "c:\windows\inf" (W98/WME) or into the folder "c:\winnt\inf" (NT/W2K/XP).
7.) Open the folder USB-100.zip that you downloaded earlier.
8.) Open the file "btwusb.inf" and look for 2 lines that contain "USB_VID_044e&PID_3001". Change these two lines to "USB_VID_03EE&PID_641F"
9.)Save the file. (Thanks to JamesLast for steps 6- 10) icon_razz.gif
10.)Insert your bluetooth device.
11.) If the computer does not detect it, go to add new harware in the control panel.
12.) All going well, there should be different drivers for your bluetooth device. Select the "Anycom" one and install it.
13.)Pair your phone and computer.
14.) Tick the bluetooth ports in mRouter (once you know which port it uses, you can untick the other ones)
15.) Open your bluetooth software and when you see your phone, click on it and go to discover services.
16.) Establish a serial port connection with your computer.
17.) If the mRouter icons turns from grey to colored, then it worked. Run Pc Suite.

Note that in future, you only need to right click the bluetooth icon in your system tray and go to quick connect.

I've done this & now mRouter can see my fone & shows 'connected' with my bluetooth Dongle - however, PC Suite will allow me to enter a name for my nGage & then it tells me my device (an nGage) is not compatible with PC Suite FOR the nGage??

Connection manager doesn't show the phone - mRouter's 'CHANGE DEVICE' tab shows my nGage as a 'Nokia 270502937'???

Anyone got any ideas - I'm currently running Win2K sp3 & thr same thing happens on Win XP sp1 as well????!!????

This problem is driving me nuts!!!

Nokia really have alot to answer for. They give you a DKU-5 USB cable you can't flippin use with PC Suite, & don't even have the courtesy of supply you with a Bluetooth adapter not to mention being the single most unhelpful bunch of ppl ever - making Dell look like boyscouts!!!!!

If you refer to N-Gage sales pack, the cable that comes within is not DKU-5, and it is not intended for connection to PC Suite, only for the manipulation of files on a MMC. I tested the connection of N-Gage with a PC Suite runnin' on Win XP SP1 and I had absolutely no problem....

Anyone have any idea why it's showing up as a 'Nokia 270502937' in the conenction manager & not as an nGage which is obviously why it's giving me the 'the phone you have selected is not compatible' after I name the phone in PC Suite.......

Any ideas/suggestions at this stage would be really appreciated, as this problem is driving me nuts!!!
