Fido/Roger has recently launched new MOTO Z6W in canada. Traditionally known for corrupting the firmwares of the latest phones to suck more money off the customers, these companies have done that yet again with this great phone.
The phone has been launched by placing a lock on the phone and corrupting the firmware so that the WIFI 802.11b/g doesnt work as an independent WiFi device. The 802.11b/g has been limited to connect to the home network and make internet calls. While most of the world is enjoying browsing over the device the canadian customers are yet again decieved and are forced to go for the data plans which these companies has to offer.
A lot of people are looking for the manufactures firmware or any debrading tips on this cute little device that might remove the locks from the phone specially from the 802.11b/g WLAN.
