after many problems I got a Razr V3xx Platinum from outside the US. But I´m a little dissapointed about the quality. I have high quality requirements and after the V3, I thought that the V3xx Platinum has the same quality. I´m also very sure, that it is a real, no fake or imitation. I already had an imitation in my hand and know whats the differences.
My Issues:
The battery door doesn´t fit. On the left side it is tight and fits, but at the right side, there´s a overlap. The battery door is simply too bright or wedged.
The antenna cover creaks and is a little unsteady.
There´s a annoying clicking noise in the opening mechanism in the middle state (loud) and in the final open state (softer).
The snap is really loud. Seems that the plastik rubbers are harder. It sounds almost like the phone gets damaged if you snap it hard. Very unpleasant .
Now I want to know whether any of you can agree with some of my issues or already had broken parts and the same problems. Or is it simple the quality of motorola, that was declined after the famous V3?
Watch my movie about it on youtube!

Not my experience with V3xxs at all. The battery door thing was simply a matter of not fully inserting the door in the slots. Also, some third-party batteries will cause that.
I've had one scramble its brains, don't know if that can be fixed locally or by sending it back. But out of 16 or so V3xxs among me, the girlfriend, and our acquaintances, that's the only issue that's popped up.
Hope you have better luck,

At least now I know that Motorola has a good quality. Maybe I got a "monday-model"
I already had a fake chinaware but that looked really bad. If this is a fake, then it is a well made. The rest, beneath the battery door is well made. There are no rests of varnish or plastic and the plastic feels stable, not fragile like the most fake phones.
So I think that it is a original model, but a bad one. I will try to get a used one from ebay for replacement parts (hinge) or a whole new cover combined with the chromed elements.
