Hi all! Been trying to find an answer for this question for awhile now. I am not very tech savvy unfortunately icon_sad.gif . A friend of mine bought me an unlocked CECT I 9 which is an Iphone clone. I have AT&T service if I put my sim card in it will it work? Thanks in advance for any responses!

just wanted to say that I finally got my internet and MMS to work, I think maybe I messed up the password and didn't know it since it's encoded, just make sure that your pushing the right button when you do it and your phone should work. I love the phone by the way. I mean don't get me wrong its a knockoff so of course it may not rank right up there with the IPhone but I have found that it does almost everything that the IPhone does and for 100 bucks you cant beat it. Thanks all!

Yes, the iPhone clones are compatible with AT&T service -- even prepaid service, which is what I have.

I have actually posted a blog article that gives a tutorial on how to set up the Internet on iPhone clones like the sciphone, the hiphone, the i9, the i9+, the CECT i68, the i68+, the mini i68 or whatever.

Also, I DON'T recommend these phones as they are cheap. But, if you do get one, be sure to get one that supports US tower frequencies or it will not work at all.

Really, it is best to get only phones that are distributed through your carrier.
