Hi, I am an AT&T customer and I live in a low coverage area. I recently went to the AT&T store to complain about my service because I have a dropped call nearly every day. The man told me that it was most likely my phone, a Samsung Sync. He said that there had been numerous complaints about this model. He also advised me to get a BlackBerry instead. I told him I have trouble hearing the person on the other end and also that I was sick of dropped calls. Was he telling me to buy a BlackBerry model because he was trying to sell them, or because the sound quality and signal strength are better? I am eligible for an upgrade now and I would like to find a cheap (free) phone, but the man advised me against the "low end" phones because the call quality is less. Can someone point me straight here?
Thanks

trying to sell, the phone should not make a difference, there are boosters you can buy though.
