I have one cell phone with AT&T, and one phone/blackberry with Verizon. Does anyone know if it is possible to switch the two numbers with each other so that my phone/BB number is on my AT&T phone and vice versa? If so, who would I ask, AT &T or Verizon?

i think you would have to go into the store and have them transfer the # to the carrier desired.

From what I understand you cannot do that directly. Call verizon and change your number, then do the same on att. Then call verizon and request the att number since that is a "free agent" and do the same with att.
That should do it for you.

you would have to port from one carrier to the other. if your contract is over it should be fairly easy. if not ETF's are gonna happen
generally spaeaking when to change your number it goes into a dead pool for 60 days (at att anyway).so its not a good idea to change it. you will lose you number in that scenario
