I've searched the forum for solutions too my problem, but no luck. I just recently changed from a Nokia phone where the IrDa was working perfectly. Now i can't even get my computer to detect a nerby device..I'm using a Fujitsu-Siemes laptop with integrated infrared, (Wndows XP Professional). Are there any specific settings i should allter?
Thanks

Do you see the irda device in the device manager?

you may need to download a virtual com-port, as my O/S (windows 2000) does not create a com port for infra red. Once you download a virtual comport, it will act as if the infra red information is going through the comport you selected in the samsung software
