Hi, I am new here, but I hope I can get some help! I got this sidekick id not to long ago(middle june), and I don't really like it(no camera!), so I am looking for a new phone. But idk which one! I would like a touch screen, but I am nervous about switching to one. But to help, these are some things I want in the new phone:

Camera*
Fm radio
Video recording/streaming*
Maybe touch screen
Internet and email*
Fun app choices to keep me entertained*
Gps
And music*
Oh, and it has to be T-Mobile**

Suggestions and comments ARE welcome! And 2 phones I like right now and I am deciding on, but not limited to, are the g1 and the behold, thanks!

*=must have
Note: no international phones please, to expensive!

Fm radio is rarely in a phone. Based on what you say, id go with a smarphone. You just need to find a platform you like. Android is very open and easy to use (and if you use google anything, it imports all that stuff). Blackberry is very good for email and winmo is good for ppl who like windows and need to use office a lot or exchange.

Phone wise, try the g1, bb8900 (there is also a new one that will be out on tmo soon) and a dash3g and touch pro 3g (out july 12 and aug12)

Ya I was kinda leaning tward a smart phone. I do like the g1, but not really the keyboard on it. . .but I do like all the upgrades that are being made to it! And the behold, I like mostly all of it cept that it DOESN'T have a lot of apps and upgrades. . . But I need the one that will entertain me for a year at the least, and idk which one of those that is. . .or any other for that matter.

You would have to get both of those phones unlocked since tmobile won't be selling them. There are multiple sites out there that sell unlocked phones. Just do a google search

If you are waiting till then you should check out the my touch 3g. And the touch pro2 will be out. I like that better than the touch hd.

Oh, I HAVE looked at the mytouch, I like it too. But will it be out at the begining of august? And a lil problemo with the htc touch pro2 is, idk, its international, and prolly expensive too. But IF the mytouch is out in the begining of august, then perrrrrfect. Then I have at least 3 choices; mytouch, behold, g1. Can't have em all. . . I still am deciding WHICH of those lucky 3 tho. . .

Mytouch is out aug 5.

And what do you mean that the touchpro2 is international? It would still be cheaper than buying a touchHD

Well I mean, is it for tmobile? If not and if it is over 230 than nooo way man. It has to be under 200 or 230. I think I have kinda gave up on the g1. . .but idk. . .what do u think of the behold, g1 and the mytouch? Which one would u get? And how much is the mytouch again? I can't find the price, even if I orderd it now, I think tmo is allowing peeps to buy them now. .

I always get smartphones so that eliminates the behold. I would chose the g1 just cause I want a physical keyboard.

The mytouch can be preordered right now for 199
