To get the faceplate off you need a T9 screwdriver and I believe the screws are under the blue plasic notchs midway up the sides of the interior of the phone and the rhombus shaped blue plastic things on the bottom corners. So just unscrew those puppies and the faceplate should come right off in theory(unless they glued/snapped it on also), anyways i know its helld up by at leats 4 screws and if the faceplate doesnt have any place for screws to go your shit out of luck, i personaly wouldnt get a face plate just because i like the whole case to match. but i do have stickers on it like the BSD Deamon on the faceplate and an RTFM sticker on the battery.

when you open the phone the two small rubber pieces toward the top actually come out (pry them out) you will see the screws to remove underneath to change to faceplate, it took me a while to find this one out too, luckily by buddy works for verizon! (it takes a very small screwdriver) i think they call them a tork screw or something, call one of your verizon stores in your area and someone should be able to help you on most of the accessories for this phone!

Ok... just finished mine... I picked up a precision screwdriver set to make it much easier... first, use a small flathead to pry out the rubber pieces at the top next to the ear speaker... second, CAREFULLY, with the flathead, peel up the rhombus shaped ones at the bottom... they are flat stickers and will pop out and get lost... luckily, mine stuck to my goatee and after an hour of searching, my friend noticed it stuck to my face! Unscrew all four small screws with your smallest phillips driver. Then take your flathead and gently pry up the faceplate. It should come off fairly easy. Under the square sticker that surrounds the camera on the faceplate you will find another screw that holds the camera cover onto the faceplate. Remove that, and also gently take off the square sticker to use on your new faceplate, if it's not already provided. Then, do everything you just did, again, except backwards. You got your new faceplate. For the record, I'm not that crazy about the carbon fiber cover I just put on. It clashes with the blue, big time!

there is problems with Non-oem faceplates, the front tip always pop open,
you woul need to cut away some of the internal plastics around the camera socket on the faceplate.
then u need to a metal filer and file down the screw socket on the right side, if the underside of the faceplate is facing you and the camera socket is facing you.
i found out how to fix it after my g/f started complaining about it.
also, the non oem doesn't come with rubber cushion to prevent dust from going into the front LCD, to fix that, apply a thin layer of hot glue around the lcd cover on the underside. let it cool down and see if it fits, if not, then do it again...
yes.. i'm crazy, but im use to fixing thing like this, cuz im a plastic modeler,

hope i helped[/url]
