ROKR W5- how to upgrade to US software for texting

I bought an unlocked ROKR W5 off of the internet (from Brazil). When I try to text the words that come up are foreign. The only way I can send a text is to actually type each individual letter. I am assuming it is because it came from Brazil? Is there away to update so that when texting it will bring up English words? Everything else works great on it. thank you.

try to chage the setting in personalize scrow down to language and choose english

It's in English. Everything works fine and the whole phone is in English. It's only when I text and the predictive text comes up, those words are foreign.

Do texting then option go to tex set up then you'll see primary change it to TAP english

It was in TAP english, I switched it to ITAP english and now it works. Thanks!
