I bought a locked Samsung eternity from craigslist .I also got a universal 'unlock sim card' with it. I beleive I have to place this card under whatever sim card I am using and it will automatically unlock.
Does anyone know more about this 'unlock sim card'
I would like to take this to India and use a local network's sim card. I also called ATT and told them I want the unlock code. They gave it to me after they asked me for the IMEI number.
Now what should I do? Should I use the unlock code At&t provided me and unlock it. If so , is that all that needs to be done in order for the phone to work in India.? Or should I just hold on to the code and use the 'unlock sim card instead'. I do not know the advantages of the universal unlock sim card that came with it.
Thanks in advance

Yes, I agree with elmo (that sounds a little funny lol), At&t knows what they are doing ( we hope), and if you try to use the "universal" thing, it could mess it up.
