I've been trying to figure this out for the past 2 weeks and I keep flip flopping. This is going to be my first smartphone and I don't wanna make a mistake. I've played w/ both and like both. Most use for the phone will be for: texting, gps, playing music, browsing the internet, and e-mail.
Most people I asked raved about their BB's and BBM, is it that great? they make it seem like a game changer.
I love the deck of card that the webOS utilizes.
SOMEONE HELP!

I feel your pain im going thru the exact same thing and I work for Sprint. Both phones are pretty remarkable and the only problem is whether or not the touch screen will be a bother in any way.The phones do basically the same thing they just do them in different ways and coming from a BB Curve 8330 owner the BB was the best professional investment I've ever made. The Pre is an incredible device and i really enjoy its smooth operation and the ability to operate multiple apps at one time but people forget you can do that with a BB already, so its all about you and your personal preferences because its just a matter of touchscreen vs. non touchscreen in the end.
palm pre right now is hands down the most powerful handset on the market. it has true multitasking, which blackberry does not. also blackberry relies on their servers for email and text, so if their server ever goes down blackberry users can't text, email, mms, and more.
