I bought an unlocked motorola v3xx to replace my at&t razr. The phone works fine here in my home town. When you leave the area, it won't roam off towers that it is supposed to receive signals from. At&t told keeps telling me that it is my sim card. I put my sim card in another phone in those areas and the other phone worked fine. I have been told that because it is unlocked, it doesn't have the required at&t software to roam. Is there anything I can do to solve this? I just bought this phone a month ago, really don't want to go buy another if I can get this one to work. Please Help.

Unlocked phones have not been optimized to work on our AT&T network. Yes we all know it's a Moto Razr V3XX, it hasn't been branded so it's not our phone. Next time buy a phone from Motorola themselves at their website, and get one that says AT&T.
