anyone using data plan as home internet?

I am looking into a signing up for a data plan with ATT.
Then I want to use the SIM card in an USB modeom in my laptop or even connect via WiFi to my ATT phone.
Of course this will use the internet mor ethan I would use it on my phone.Has anyone had any issues with ATT doing this?

unless you have a tethering data plan it wont work
