I got my plan about 5 years ago before at&t had not merged with cingular. My phone was stolen and I need a new SIM card. I have called Customer Service and they want me to get a new plan. I do not want to do that I have a major major great family plan. I have told them if they can match the plans price and come close to the number of minutes I will sign a new plan or upgrade to new orange network but they could not come close to what I pay. They told me all about the orange 3G stuff and how everything has changed (I do not do anything but use my cell phone to get calls for Subsutute teaching jobs or a emergency calls). Finally after a hour and asking to speak to a supervior told me that "if I find a blue SIM card and take it to my AT&T store that they will activate it". I bought a Blue SIM card on ebay and took it to the nearest AT&T store. The people at the AT&T store told me I needed a older (I guess white Blue SIM Card) Card and that I would have to call AT&T to activate it, that they could not do it in the store I can buy a white blue card on ebay but I feel that they still will not activate it.
Can they activate it or are they just trying to get me to sign up to a plan that costs more?
